Is Vault Notes available now?
Not yet. The app is in development and the Android beta is being prepared. Transcription, speaker separation and summaries are built into the app but do not work end to end yet. Join the list and we email you once when you can take part.
Does my audio go to a server?
No. Audio is processed on your phone as it comes in and is not uploaded. It is also not saved as an audio file; what you keep is the text.
What does leave my phone?
The AI models are downloaded once from huggingface.co. The app asks RevenueCat for your subscription status with an anonymous ID. That is all; see Privacy by design for the full list.
How much storage do the models need?
About 1.1 GB on phones with less than 6 GB of RAM (compact models) and about 2.8 GB on phones with more (standard models). You download them once, preferably on Wi-Fi.
What about battery use?
Running AI on the phone uses the processor, so long recordings cost battery. We will measure this during the beta and publish the numbers here.
What does Pro cost?
Free gives you 5 meetings a month of up to 30 minutes, 3 of them with an AI summary. Pro costs €9.99 a month or €69.99 a year (about €5.83 a month, first 7 days free), or €149.99 once for Pro Lifetime. Prices include VAT; you pay through the app store and can cancel there at any time.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your meetings are only on your phone.
Can I export my notes?
Not yet. Export to a file is planned. For now you can copy transcript text, which is cleared from the clipboard after 60 seconds.
Is there an iPhone version?
Later. Android comes first; there is no date for iPhone yet.
Which languages?
The app itself is available in English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Polish. We will publish which languages transcription supports well once it works.
